About
We are happy to be providing this service in wonderful Inishowen, Co. Donegal. Our Centre is located onsite in the Old Church building at An Grianan Hotel. An ideal location for providing this service and now on the Main Wild Atlantic Way Route.
Our Centre is an interactive fun learning experience for young and old about the Legends of the Mythical Tuatha Dé Danann Race and their epic battles. The Centre also showcases information on other local attractions in the area through various model displays and audio visual exhibits. Some of the latest multimedia technology has been incorporated in the Centre allowing for a thrilling experience for all visitors. You could easily spend about an hour in the Centre and then you are armed with the knowledge to go out and physically explore such attractions like Grianan of Aileach Fort, Burt Castle and Inch Wildfowl Reserve (all within five minutes drive from the Centre).
Entry €5 per person and includes fresh Tea/Coffee & Scones which can be eaten inside or outside in the dedicated Picnic area. €3 entry only. If you get really hungry after perhaps trekking up to the Grianan Fort, you could always enjoy the Fort Bar & Lounge at the Hotel for a fantastic menu available from 12.30 - 9pm. (Daily Special's from just €9.95)
Thanks & appreciation
We would like to take this opportunity to give thanks and appreciation to everyone who has given their help and support on developing this Project. We would also like to give special mention to the Funding Bodies and Local Authorities below who without their aid and resources we would not have been able to deliver the project. A special thanks also goes to Jim McLaren from McLaren Photography for providing us with the fantastic Photos for the Centre.
