Testimonials

Margaret D, Donegal - "We went for a night out with a difference at An Grainan hotel celebrating local history in word dance music and food . When we arrived at the hotel two men dressed as celtic warriors met us in the lobby and you could have a photograph taken with them. We then were offered a glass of mead a honey based drink. The function room was decorated in celtic design with wall hangings and table and stools decorated in viking age old pottery. We were entertained during meal by very professional musicians and a narrator telling the story of local history and a presentation shown on a large screen , warriors dancing and irish dancers performing during the meal typical of the era of broth , followed by roast chicken or ham hog with potatoes and veg and rhubarb and custard with wine served all through the evening. We spent an evening at Bunraty Castle at a similar event but this was more enjoyable. The hotel also has a museum in the grounds. The staff were very welcoming and the service and entertainment was excellent."

DL Traveller66 - " Was at the Celtic Feast Night last night, great nights entertainment and food, we were there with the family and everyone from the 10 year old to the teenagers really enjoyed the show (Dancers "amazing" was the quote from the 10 year old). Everyone enjoyed the food. If your looking for a nights entertainment with great food give it a try."
